Alzheimer’s disease

A common form of dementia generally diagnosed in people over the age of 65. An incurable disease, Alzheimer’s can be extremely difficult for clients and family members.

Ambulance

A vehicle specifically designed to transport someone who requires medical attention. At Ark Angel Transport, we employ a fully equipped, 36-foot long recreational vehicle as our non-emergency ambulance. Our National Tropic recreational vehicle provides maximum comfort for long distance trips.

Cancer

A class of diseases responsible for the death of 13% of all-human population as recently as 2007. However, the prevention and treatment of cancer is constantly improving. If you have a loved one suffering from cancer who requires qualified medical attention over a long-distance trip, Ark Angel Transport is the most dependable medical transport service in the country for cancer clients.

Dementia

A significant loss of cognitive ability. Although most commonly suffered by the geriatric population, dementia can occur at any stage of adulthood. Symptoms of declining cognitive functionality include eroding in memory, attention-span, language comprehension, and problem solving skills. Dialysis

Residential care facilities that cater to the medical needs of its clients. Nursing homes are regular destinations for Ark Angel Transport as part of our senior care transportation services.

Orthopedic surgery

A branch of surgery dedicated to treating conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. Ark Angel Transport’s non-emergency medical transportation services can assist client’s recovering from orthopedic surgery by providing safe, wheelchair accessible transportation to and from doctor’s appointments and physical rehabilitation sessions.

Oxygen support

Ark Angel Transport offers comprehensive service for passenger’s requiring oxygen support.

Paramedic

A medical professional who provides medical care to clients en route to hospitals or other medical facilities. Ark Angel Transport does not employ paramedics, but does have a licensed staff trained to handle unpredictable occurrences during transportation.

Physical rehabilitation

A process that seeks to restore a client to a previous level of fitness and health. Physical rehabilitation is often an important part of recovery for clients coming off major surgery or injury. For people with limited mobility, Ark Angel Transport is a perfect solution for getting to and from physical rehabilitation sessions with professional assistance.

Stroke

A medical emergency caused by rapid loss of brain function due to a lack of blood supply to the brain, usually caused by a burst or obstructed blood vessel. Stroke clients often suffer from severe neurological damage, rendering them incapable of driving and other regular day-to-day activities.
